…we're keeping our name but expanding our offerings!
What was the first book you’ve read?
*I can’t remember the title, and there was barely any explicit sex, but it was an m/m political thriller. After that, boy was I hopelessly hooked. M/M is my core reading genre now. It’s rare I’ll touch anything else.
What is your favorite book?
*That would have to be “King Perry“, by Edmond Manning. I’d dare anyone to read that and not come away wanting to king a Vincent (trust me, you’ve got read it to understand it). It was just so intriguing; it completely flummoxed me with the plot, and the language was just so beautifully executed. Utter, utter perfection.
What’s your favorite sub-genre/category (paranormal, shifters, cops, suspense, dystopian, BDSM, etc)?
*It has to be BDSM thrillers, or just plain contemporary BDSM. Hmmm… or just plain BDSM *chuckles*. I love watching Dom/sub relations play out on paper and I never tire of it. I’ve read a few shape-shifting fantasy novels that pull me in, but mostly it’s BDSM.
Which book would you love to see made into a movie?
*Oooh, a toughie. I’d have to go for “King Perry”, purely because of the settings (Alcatraz etc). And the ducks. I loved those ducks! The birthday cake scene was heartbreaking. Again, everything just perfection with this novel: psychological play at it’s finest.
Which book do you wish you had written?
*Without an ounce of doubt, “From Temptation”, by Lynn Kelling. That’s my darkest read for 2013. It hit every dark psychological note that gets me going in a book. I absolutely love it when good guys go dark, when you see them at their worst, then I get a really sadistic kick seeing them claw back from the brink, only to go through all hosts of suffering to try and redeem themselves. From Temptation had all of that: dark, mean, moody, but unfortunately, not mine.
Who is your book boyfriend?
*Ben Knox from the “Deliver Us” series. Oh… my… lord. If ever there was a Dom I could pull from a book and keep, it would be Ben Knox. He’s just so bad, so wicked with what he gets up to in his garage with Kyle, and yet so under the thumb and grouchy about it. He terrifies me, makes me laugh, and leaves me needing a few days in the North Pole to try and cool things down.
What book are you currently reading or reading next?
*I’ve just finished “My Warrior, My Slave”, by Nana G, and “Bite Me Tender” by Kate Lowell. I really want to pick up the “Flesh Cartel“, but I still haven’t plucked up enough courage. I’ve got hundreds on kindle ready to go, including ones by Jack Brighton. His “In The Dark” looks… wow, well, just the cover
