"Boys in Our Books"…

…we're keeping our name but expanding our offerings!

Authors as Readers: Piper Vaughn

…where we ask our favorite authors about their LGBT reading experiences…

What was the first book you’ve read?
*“Tigers and Devils” by Sean Kennedy

What is your favorite book?
*“Among the Living” by Jordan Castillo Price (And it starts off my favorite series in M/M, PsyCop.)

What’s your favorite sub-genre/category (paranormal, shifters, cops, suspense, dystopian, BDSM, etc)?
*Contemporary is my overall favorite, but I actually love a little bit of everything. I read everything from paranormal to BDSM.

Which book would you love to see made into a movie?
*I’d actually love to see the PsyCop series made into films or into a TV show. The things that happen would make for some great visuals.

Which book do you wish you had written?
*“The Locker Room” by Amy Lane. Amy is admittedly one of my favorite authors, has been since the time before I was writing in the genre myself. I admire and respect her skill as a storyteller and her ability to create such vivid, memorable characters. Xan and Chris are one of my favorite couples.

Who is your book boyfriend?
*I’d love to say Vic from PsyCop because he’s one of my favorite heroes, but he’s actually extremely like me, aside from the whole seeing dead people thing, and he’s too good with Jacob. But I’d probably claim Crash from that series if I could. :)

What book are you currently reading or reading next?
*Currently working on “Camp Hell” by Jordan Castillo Price. This interview is PsyCop heavy, I know, but I’m in the middle of rereading the series so I can read the latest book, so it’s been on my mind a lot lately.

Yay! another vote for PsyCops…and I know the feeling, I was sucked into Vic and Jacob’s world while I was reading too!

Yeah, it definitely sucks you in. I’ve reread the series a few times. Definitely one of my favorite worlds to get lost in. :)
