    For me, I have to pick two. In the M/M Romance category, “Into This River I Drown” by Tj Klune. No contest. In the YA M/M Category, “Omorphi” by C. Kennedy. Again, no contest. Both of them blew me away this year.

    Another vote for Magpie Lord here. I think 2013 was a really strong year for m/m (particularly the second half or so) and I’m more excited about the genre than I have been in years.

    I’m going to be different and go with Brothers of the Wild North Sea by Harper Fox. The prose works well with the setting and this one is definitely under appreciated.

    Pretty sure I gave my pick to Ami but looks like it didn’t make the list :(

    So many others on that list hit the top of my list too.

    If I have to pick just one I’ll go with Transgression by Theo Fenraven because not only did I enjoy the story but I learned something from it. If I was able to you know, maybe pick two? King Mai would be the other book that I loved and learned from. Happy New Year!

    This is tough to narrow down to one so I’ll add one to the mix. I loved Kendall McKenna’s Strength of the Wolf. I could so keep going though b/c this was a great year of reading and discovering for me.

    I’ll go with Special Forces. I read it back in January as one my first books out of the “m/m canon” and it triggered a reading frenzy that I’m still struggling with :)
