I’ve loved so many, but the ones that stick out right now are Tara Lain’s SPELL CAT (yeah, late to the party there, I know, especially since I’d read so many of her others) and Teegan Loy’s THE MAGIC BROOM.

Good thing you asked for the last six months, lol. The list would have been extremely long. Umm..in the last six month my favorite book has been Floodgates by Mary Calmes. I just started reading Timber Wolf Chronicles by Rob Colton and so far it’s been pretty good. I think it might be going on the favorite list too.

Recent standout reads for me have included “Shaking the Sugar Tree”, “Mark Cooper Versus America”, “Vivaldi in the Dark”, “Silent”, “Grime Doesn’t Pay”, and many more. You will never run out of great stories to review.

Hooray for 6 months! Not sure I can name one absolute favorite, but Power Exchange & Safeword by AJ Rose were phenomenal. Of course I’m a longtime fan of Abi Roux and Touch & Geaux very nearly put me in a reading coma from the intensity.

In other news… my favourite LGBT book of the last six months would have to be Broken Pieces by Riley Hart. No! The Back-up Boyfriend by Rivery Jaymes. No! Unbreak My Heart by K-Lee Klein! Awww… crap. I can’t choose! There’s so many great ones. :)

I really love the Whyborne and Griffin Series. Widdershins, Threshold, and Stormhaven were amazing. The first two are more than 6 months old, but I read all three for the first time last week. Perfect balance of a sweet m/m romance with something new (historical paranormal/sci fi) when I was getting bored with the formulaic chaff.

  34. That’s a hard question, actually, and isn’t that a shame! I’m mostly lost in the world of fanfiction these days.
I’d say Dorothy Dunnett’s Pawn in Frankincense, but it’s not LGBT! It just has LGBT elements spread very subtly throughout so probably it doesn’t count. It’s definitely the best book I read in the last 6 months, though.
After Midnight might just count, I read it in October.
If not, that leaves Bone Rider and I didn’t love it all that much. It felt fresh and entertaining but didn’t leave any lasting impression.
If rereading counts, I choose Captive Prince, without doubt. I reread Vol.1 & 2 every few months, I can’t live without my Laurent & Damen fix.
