Boys in our Books Friday Question of the Week!
Each week we’ll ask a question about your reading experience. Our review team will give our answers and we encourage you to join in and comment with your answers as well! Let’s talk about BOOKS! :)
I actually like rereading, but tend to only go back to an old favorite when I’m really stressed and I want to read something but don’t have the mental capacity or time to get involved with something new. My fave “fallback” rereads are Muscling Through, Among the Living, and most recently, Think of England.
Easy … Josh Lanyon’s The Dark Tide. After everything that Adrien and Jake went through, I read that one to just feel happy that they finally made it. In fact, I actually re-read that one a couple of times. (Second book will be Death of a Pirate King because the emotion in that book is so awesome)
I don’t really re-read a whole book though, usually just re-read chapters or passages. I prefer to read NEW books *lol*
I tend to reread short stories/fanfiction rather than whole books. Especially certain stories in The Administration series. But if I had to choose one book to reread, my vote goes to The Land of Night(which I have read multiple times already).
Don’t reread? Pft, I reread a handful of books all the time.
But if I had to choose just one to reread again, it would probably be SF:Soldiers. Nothing beats the slow transition from hate to love between those characters (for me). Nothing. And it’s hawt.
I rarely reread but sometimes I need a book hug.
I can always count on a smile from Ty and Zane.
I have go-to scenes in several of the books. so, it’s not really one book but one couple.
I’m not a rereader at all (pretty sure the last time I did reread something was back in my m/f days…), but if I had to pick one to start over, it’d be Special Forces. It’s an epic story and a world I could definitely revisit.
It might change tomorrow with my mood, but it would be Purgatory: A Novel of the Civil War. I’m eyeing the sequel and I’d love to get reacquainted with the characters before reading it.
I rarely reread. I have on occasion and the books have most always disappointed me the 2nd time around.
I did reread chapters 15 & 16 and 34 & 35 of the original version of Fade nightly (yes every single night) for a good 2 weeks. They were just…EVERYTHING to me. I also find some comfort in rereading some of the Cut & Run books and every now and again a Mary Calmes book.
2 series that I would like to take the time to reread if I ever get around ot it would be Special Forces and the Adrien English series.
