“Pimp My Read” (PMR) is the book-of-the-month poll for our blog! Each reviewer on the ‘Boys in our Books’ team will nominate their ONE FAVORITE read of the month (whether reviewed for the blog or not) and plead this book’s case in TEN WORDS OR LESS.
One book will come out on top as the voter favorite…aka that month’s PIMPED READ. :) BUT, what’s even better…everyone who votes and then comments on the PMR thread is entered to win ALL the books nominated by our team! Yes, one winner will get the entire month’s pimped library!

Thank you for an interesting selection of books, I read Charioteers a number of years ago and have so many fond memories of the two main characters Laurie & Ralph as well as the other books of Mary Renault. I was torn by wanting to vote for this book and the new Kaje Harper one, but as I have not read the The Family We Make I decided to vote for that Kaje :)

I saw The Family We Make and didn’t even have to look at anything else. This book will be in my top 5 books of the year.

I voted for The Family We Make by Kaje Harper. She is one of my favorite authors!! I also read The Charioteer just last month. And, I have to say, I was disappointed in it – just a three star read for me.
