Boys in our Books Friday Question of the Week!
Each week we’ll ask a question about your reading experience. Our review team will give our answers and we encourage you to join in and comment with your answers as well! Let’s talk about BOOKS! :)
There are a few books on the radar, including ones by Josh Lanyon, JL Merrow, and Dani Alexander, but the one I’m chomping at the bit about it the full set of stories in the Secret Casebook of Simon Feximal by KJ Charles, set to come out in June. Can’t wait!
I think I’m *most* looking forward to Captive Prince III. But I’ve been waiting for that for nearly two years, so…yeah…I’ll believe it when it’s in my hot little hands. Same for The Administration, #8 and #9.
Don’t mind me over here, watching my cooking pot of water…
I, admittedly, but semi-skeptically, am anxiously awaiting Untitled (Cut & Run 9)
I also can’t wait for CP3…but since she hasn’t even rereleased 1 & 2 yet, I’m doubtful.
I’m also now SOLD on the Amish Romance series by Keira Andrews and book 3 comes out in the Spring.
And lastly, KJ Charles new regency trilogy kicks off later in 2015 with A Fashionable Indulgence: A Society of Gentlemen Novel
1) Anything Josh Lanyon
2) Anything K.J. Charles
3) Anything Kaje Harper
Oh Good Lawd! I’ll jump in with Captive Prince III. *drums fingers* Is it here yet?
Um… Carry the Ocean and Lonely Hearts by Heidi Cullinan.
Misfits by Garrett Leigh.
Will we ever get Kai’s story in Not So Innocent story from Dani Alexander? I need to know all about that kiss with Riley and then some.
I’ll squeal and jump and fangirl all over The Administration #8 and #9.
The Administration #9 (not so much book 8, since I wasn’t a huge fan of BC.I’m still gonna read it, since I trust the author to make it an enjoyable experience).
I am looking forward to Captive Prince 3 and 180 Proof Vega – though there doesn’t seem to be 100% surety that we will see either released in 2015, despite the anticipation for them. So I guess in that case, Falling One By One, the fourth installment of the Borders War series by SA McAuley is at the top of my list to grab in 2015.
I can hardly stand the wait for ‘A Restored Man, The Halfway House Men Book 3‘ by Jaime Reese. Whoop! So excited.
I’m also an eager beaver for ‘The Broken Road Cafe #3’.
annnnd of course, my final adventure with my boys, Untitled (Cut & Run #9). I might unplug from the world and stay in bed for a few days…yes, I think that’s what I’ll do. ;)
Hard Fall 4 by James Buchanan (the fourth Deputy Joe novel) has been something I’ve been waiting for far too long…

Any book in any of Josh Lanyon series… Besides whatever Johanna Chambers and KJ Charles may publish. And there is a new book from LB Gregg’s Romano & Albright series planned for 2015 I’m really looking forward to. And JL Merrow’s The Plumber’s Mate series has a new book on the way I’m excited about. I there is some more I cannot remember right now… ;)
I’m expecting a great reading year!

I’m looking forward to the 3rd Romano & Albright book by LB Gregg. I think she said it would be this year. It’s been something like 4 years since the last one. :-)

Agree heartily with all the KJ Charles above.

Sloe Ride, Sinners Gin series by Rhys Ford. It is Quinn’s story and I love them Irish boys. And the Calvin & Hobbs story from Charlie Cochets T.H.I.R.D.S. Series. Go Team Cobbs. I think the next book from JL Langley is Sterling and Ryhs from her With or Without series.

Yeah, I forgot about JL Langley. I’ve been (im)patiently waiting for her next book too. :-)

Since I know for sure it’s coming out, I’d say The Administration books 8 and 9. Hands down nothing gets me more excited.
But I also really want Captive Prince III, the final Tommy and Prophet from SE Jakes, and I’m skeptically wanting to read the final Ty and Zane. Oh and CASH from Charlie Cochet.

Ohhh, CASH. I’m so psyched for their book. Why is July so faaaaaaar away??!!

Ooo! Yes, A Clean Break too. But I think I’m going to wait till book 3 is out. I don’t think I know this Amy Lane series…I need to fix that! :)

Not sure how you’ve missed the Johnnies series. Serious Amy Lane boys in porn angst-fest! Chase in Shadow and Dex in Blue are two of my favorite reads.

I’m definitely looking forward to the next books in the Amish series by Keira Andrews. And, reluctantly, Cut & Run Book 9. I’m also super excited about everything upcoming from Heidi Cullinan! And Black Jack by Amy Lane! Oh and definitely Borders War #4 by SA McAuley. And probably a million things I can’t think of at the moment.

I’m looking forward to 180 Proof Vega and Captive Prince III. I really hope both of them get released this year. I have been excited about Emilio’s book ever since I heard that the author will write it and I’ve refused to read Captive Prince II until it is closer to book 3’s publication date. Also, I’m keeping an eye on Charles’ new regency trilogy.

The usual suspects, JL Merrow, KJ Charles, Joanna Chambers. There’s a new book coming out by Julie Bozza that looks interesting, ‘Mitch Rebecki Gets a Life’. I’m hoping I don’t die of old age before CP3 comes out! Same with Not So Innocent. I read that Alexis Hall is publishing some more contemporaries this year so I’m looking forward to that. I haven’t been sold on Josh Lanyon’s work post hiatus but that’s probably partly because he’s not working on my favourites of his like, Snowball in Hell and This Rough Magic. Hopefully he’ll put me out of my misery and publish those sequels in 2015. ‘Stones in the Road’, the sequel to Shaking the Sugar Tree, is high on my list. There’s also book 1 in an m/m Scifi series that looks really interesting published by Carina Press who usually do good stuff, ‘Chaos Station’ by Jenn Burke and Kelly Jensen.
