BLOG TOUR & GIVEAWAY: “The Merchant of Death” by Lisa Henry & JA Rock
Hi! We’re Lisa Henry and J.A. Rock, the authors of THE MERCHANT OF DEATH. We’re touring the web taking about our influences, our processes, anything we can think about actually, and even giving you guys a sneak peak or two! And what would a blog tour be without a contest? Today though, we’re totally asking you guys for your help.
We had so much fun writing the PLAYING THE FOOL series, that we’d love to write more adventures featuring Henry and Mac. The only problem: titles. Every title has to be Shakespearean, but Shakespeare only wrote a certain amount of plays, and not all of those plays lend themselves to titles.
So today we’re going to play a game. Anyone who comments and suggests a potential Mac and Henry title taken from an existing Shakespeare play, gets a bonus entry in the blog tour grand prize!
Here are Shakespeare’s plays, apart from The Two Gentlemen of Verona, The Merchant of Venice, and The Tempest, because we’ve already stolen those.

About THE MERCHANT OF DEATH:
All’s fair in love and war.
There’s something rotten in the state of Indiana. When con man Henry Page takes it upon himself to investigate the death of an elderly patient at a care facility, he does so in true Shakespearean tradition: dressed as a girl.
FBI Agent Ryan “Mac” McGuinness has more to worry about than Henry’s latest crazy idea. Someone is trying to send him a message—via a corpse with a couple of bullets in it. He needs to figure out who’s trying to set him up before he gets arrested, and he really doesn’t have time for Henry’s shenanigans. Then again, he’d probably be able to focus better if Henry didn’t look so damn distracting in a babydoll dress and a wig.
But when Mac discovers that Henry has been keeping a secret that connects the cases, he has to find a way to live on the right side of the law when he just might be in love with the wrong sort of man.

“Midsummer Night’s Cream” (I’m so sorry. I’m like a 13 year old boy at heart). You could go with “The Taming of the Con Man” or “Mac-Death” or a bit of a stretch like “King Fear.”
Loved the first book! Can’t wait to continue the series! I read it first on ebook, but I really want the books on my shelves :)

I’m not creative enough for this…but, I LOVE these books. I read a review for Merchant of Death last Wednesday, so I went to Riptide and bought The Two Gentleman of Altona and Merchant Of Death and finished them on Sunday. Now I have to wait until March for the rest of the story…sigh. I’m excited to hear there’ll be more though. :-)

It’s been one of those days where my brain went to fourth-grade humor: “Pericles” immediately became “Perineum” (I know, it won’t pass muster at Amazon, it was just a momentary impulse), “Winter’s Tale” was “Winter’s Tail,” and “Coriolanus”…well, that still works. Depending on the locale, you could do “Timon of Athens, Georgia” or something like that…

I wasn’t finished, whoops. Or “Crime of Errors” or “As You Bite It” <— ha, with bite being death but I'm sure people would think kink. Or "Merry Sons of Misery"
Also, I haven't read this series, so I'm probably just throwing out random stuff. Thanks for the giveaway and I look forward to starting this series. I finished Take the Long Way Home and LOVED it.
