QUESTION OF THE WEEK: I MISS YOU…

Boys in our Books Friday Question of the Week!

Each week we’ll ask a question about your reading experience. Our review team will give our answers and we encourage you to join in and comment with your answers as well!  Let’s talk about BOOKS! :)

QUESTION:

Are there authors that haven’t published in a while that you would look forward to reading more from?

Ami:

1. A.M. Riley. A.M. Riley. A.M. FREAKING RILEY!! (Take a break from your day job and write more M/M please!!)

2. Victor J. Banis (because I want to read at least one more book from his Deadly series)

3. Laura Baumbach (too busy taking care of MLR? I want new stories!)

4. P.A. Brown (like Banis, I want to read at least one more book from her L.A. series)

5. Sarah Black (come on, where’s the next story from the General series?)

… you didn’t say just one author, right?

Ilhem:

Ami said it all. Come on A.M. Riley, we’re begging!

Sheri:

I’m anxious for Damon Suede’s next release, whatever it might be. And I’m always looking forward Marie Sexton’s updates on new releases.

I always love both of their books!

Sue C:

I’m still waiting patiently for Dani Alexander’s “Not So Innocent”. <3

Susan:

I was hoping for more books from Cary Atwell who wrote The Other Guy.

And of course, Manna Francis and CS Pacat…because I have to have TA8&9 and CP3!

Tracy:

I would say Jane Seville (Zero at the Bone). It was one of the first gay romances I’ve read, and would love to read more from her someday. That, and I (not-so-secretly) enjoy Sci-Regency series and her other works, so look forward to her next release. Also, I look forward to more from Isabella Carter (Dragon Slayer). Oh-oh, and Elle Parker (Like Coffee and Doughnuts) and M.J. Pearson (Discreet Young Gentleman), and….

Xing:

Manna Francis – The Administration 8 & 9
CS Pacat – Captive Prince Volume 3
P.L. Nunn – Dynasty of Ghost REALLY needs a sequel! (and so does Bloodraven)
A.M. Riley – I need more Adam & Peter!
Jill Smith – C’mon, c’mon! The Silvers was 5 stars for me. I want to know what else this author is capable of.

HOW ABOUT YOU?

Ami, Victor banis has stopped writing due to health problems. He wrote a post on the reviewsbyjessewave site a few years ago.

Oh, thank you so much for the information. I didn’t know that Banis stopped writing completely.

Joining the chorus for CS Pacat. I’ve already re-read Vol. 1 and 2 a handful of times. The fact that she’s already begun the editing process is comforting.

I’d also love it if Tamara Allen (Downtime, Whistling int he Dark) published something. Her novels are a delicious read.

Other than that, I don’t mind it if a beloved author hasn’t released something new. For one thing, my TBR pile is huge. For another, my wallet’s grateful. ;)

I believe Tamara Allen has two (!!) books slated for release this year, so us fans have something to look forward to. :D

Ugh, I clicked “post comment” a little too soon!

The fact that she’s already begun the editing process is comforting.

I was referring to Vol. 3 (which has the awesomecakes title of “Kings Rising”).
