QUESTION OF THE WEEK: Summer Vacation Reads…

Close your eyes. Imagine a perfect summer day, laying by the water, fruity drink in hand. Turn your ereader to page 1 …Now open your eyes and tell me: What book are you reading?

The Coconut Cove series by Poppy Dennison & M.J. O’Shea. Perfect for a sunny, carefree happy-go-lucky day.

*sips piña colada*

As I reread the first two books I am reminded how eager I am for book three….Can’t wait for more sexy trouble in Coconut Cove!

Something sweet and fun – True Brit by Con Riley :)

Easy. The Matter of Time series by Mary Calmes. Doesn’t matter which book, doesn’t matter which part of the story. I can lose myself right away. Jory & Sam are my happy place.

I’d choose Life After Joe by Haper Fox. It’s a surprisingly beautiful and heartfelt story. It’s also intense and lyrical – all while being relatively short.  Gimme. :)

Today, if I could just do this? It would be Bear, Otter, and the Kid by TJ Klune. I love that book. I love the series. I could really go for a reread of that hilariously funny, warm, and wonderful story.

Probably something speculative fiction or mystery–like that new Josh Lanyon (Winter Kill) or the Keira Andrews zombie apocalypse book Kick at the Darkness. Something page-turney.

Sea, sex and sun mood…Ummm…I would need something funny, sexy, fast-paced and smart.

*opens eyes*

Oh lookie! I’m rereading Shatterglass by Dani Alexander!

Something set in the winter. To cool the mind while enjoying the sun.

Sunny & hot definitely makes me think of N.R. Walker’s Red Dirt Heart series.

I was researching m/m vampire books the other day and came across The Tinder Chronicles by Alexa Land. Seems like they’d be a good vacay read – lots of sexy vampire vs vampire hunter action, good reviews, reasonable price. Hmm…I go on vacation next week…

I have been happily rereading series. I just finished Mary Calme’s Hearth series and Matter of Time a few Months ago. I will probably revisit Sean Kennedy’s Tigerland series next. I do love him so.

There is a third book coming later this year so you might want to start reading.

I love Mary Calmes A Matter of Time series but I think I’m going to have to give it a break this time around since I’m always rereading it. Umm…I’m going to say a book from the Bluewater Bay series. It’s a series I’ve been meaning to check out.

Winter Kill by Josh Lanyon and Mnevermind 3 by JCP and some non-m/m audiobooks (fantasy), but I haven’t picked which ones yet, I have 4-5 in my app and will probably listen to 2
