REVIEW: “Top Me Maybe” by Jay Northcote

ABOUT:

Duncan has a secret fantasy, but is Tyler the right man for the job?

Tyler’s new policeman boyfriend, Duncan, is gorgeous. Tall, broad, and über-masculine, he’s the epitome of the dominant top—in appearance at least.

When they discuss their sexual fantasies, Duncan confesses to a secret desire that surprises Tyler. Luckily for Duncan, Tyler’s happy to oblige and is determined to give Duncan a night to remember.

REVIEW:

Top Me Maybe was a super short, and sexy story. It was enjoyable and fun to read. There is no angst whatsoever, the characters are easy to like and go well together. Actually, if Jay decided to write a sequel-precuel about them I would totally read it!!

Duncan and Tyler have been going out for about a month. Duncan is a top, but the question here is, does he want to be a top? Tyler is vers, so when one night the topic came up about topping and bottoming and all that, he’s up for it all!.

Like I said, it was hot, sexy! I do have to say though, that it’s sex scene after sex scene. I would say there’s an underlying plot. It’s not like those sex scenes were put there for the sake of their hotness! The issue of sterotypes is raised, and I found it interesting, of course. I wouldn’t mind a second book *wink wink* where I could read more about their relationship before/after this short takes place, and where issues like this one could be explored a bit more!.

Nice shortie. Sexy and fun. A great pick me up!
